001 The maths in 2026
Stop buying power. Not sell it back.
Feed-in tariffs have dropped. The Energex network no longer mandates a minimum, and most retailer plans now pay 5–8 c/kWh for exports. But import rates are 30 c+/kWh in the evening peak.
The financial story is no longer "sell power back" — it's stop buying power. Every kWh you generate and use yourself is worth roughly four to five times what you'd get exporting it.
That makes sizing more important than it used to be. Oversize the array for a battery you'll add later, and you front-load the value.

Hybrid as standard
Battery-ready by default — adding a battery later costs less. Sungrow, Fronius, GoodWe, SolarEdge depending on roof complexity.
Coastal-rated
Stainless fixings for Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast properties. Tilt frames for flat roofs. Heritage-sensitive for Brisbane character homes.

What size is right for your home.
Savings depend on usage pattern, retailer plan and feed-in rate. Final figures land on your bills, not in the brochure.

004 Federal STC rebate
Applied at the quote, not at a form.
When we install your system, it generates Small-scale Technology Certificates under the SRES. We assign those certificates back to you as a point-of-sale discount. On a 6.6 kW system in 2026, that's roughly $1,600 off. The discount is on your quote. There's no claim form, no waiting period.
